We all have a shared responsibility to keep guests, volunteers, staff and the animals who live here safe. Guests who do not comply with the Detroit Zoo’s policies may be escorted from the Zoo. The Detroit Zoo — one of Michigan’s largest paid family attractions — is situated on 125 acres of naturalistic habitats, providing a home for more than 2,800 animals representing 239 species.
